MountainOne Recognized for Innovative Financial Literacy Program Featuring Mo the Spokesgoat

MountainOne has been awarded a Silver Bell Ringer Award at the 57th Annual PR Club Bell Ringer Awards for its Mo’s Storybook Program, a unique initiative designed to foster financial literacy and personal growth in children. The program, centered around the original illustrated book 'How to Climb a Mountain', features Mo the MountainOne Spokesgoat and combines storytelling with lessons on confidence, goal-setting, and smart saving habits.

Since its launch, the program has reached over 2,000 children through more than 20 live readings across the Berkshires and South Shore, receiving positive feedback from educators and parents alike. The success of the initial book has led to the release of a second title, 'Something to Save', furthering MountainOne's commitment to empowering the next generation through engaging and educational content.

Jill Amato, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Community Banking at MountainOne, expressed pride in the program's recognition and its impact on children's understanding of financial principles. The award underscores the effectiveness of innovative communication strategies in addressing educational needs and the value of community-focused initiatives in the financial sector.
