MountainOne Supports Affordable Housing Through Women Build Initiative

MountainOne recently demonstrated its commitment to community service and affordable housing by participating in the Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity's Women Build. This initiative not only empowers women to take an active role in construction but also advances the mission of providing affordable housing in the Berkshires. A team of women from MountainOne, including Julie Rider, Shannon Dozier, and others, worked on installing decking and siding for two new condominium units in Pittsfield.

The event highlighted MountainOne's dedication to giving back to the communities it serves. Brenda Petell, MountainOne's Community Engagement Officer and a board member of Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity, shared her pride in being part of both organizations. The day's work was a testament to the power of collective effort in creating lasting impacts for families in need.

MountainOne's involvement in the Women Build is a reflection of its broader commitment to social responsibility. As a mutual holding company offering financial services through MountainOne Bank, MountainOne Insurance, and MountainOne Investments, the company continues to support various community initiatives. This event underscores the importance of corporate participation in addressing housing challenges and fostering community development.
