Mullen Automotive Secures $1.4 Million EV Truck Order from Logistics Firm Cashflow on Wheels

Mullen Automotive has secured a significant order for its electric vehicles, with logistics company Cashflow on Wheels purchasing 20 Class 3 Mullen THREE trucks valued at approximately $1.4 million. The order, to be fulfilled by Pritchard Automotive, represents a strategic move by the logistics provider to transition to electric vehicles.

Cashflow on Wheels, which serves major clients including FedEx and Amazon, cited substantial cost savings as the primary motivation for this purchase. The company reported potential savings of over $500 per route per week through electric vehicle testing, signaling a potentially transformative economic advantage for commercial fleet operators.

The order comes at a critical time for Mullen Automotive, which began commercial vehicle production in Tunica, Mississippi, in August 2023. The company has already achieved important certifications, including California Air Resource Board and EPA approval for both its Mullen ONE cargo van and Mullen THREE truck models.

Additionally, the Mullen THREE truck qualifies for significant financial incentives, including up to $45,000 in cash vouchers through the CARB HVIP program and potential federal EV tax credits of $7,500 per vehicle. These incentives could further accelerate adoption of electric commercial vehicles.

The transaction underscores a growing trend in the transportation industry toward electrification, driven by potential operational cost reductions, environmental considerations, and increasing government support for electric vehicle technologies.
