NANO Nuclear Energy Inc. has successfully secured $105 million in a private placement, signaling significant momentum for its advanced nuclear technology development. The company will sell 3,888,889 shares of common stock at $27.00 per share, with participation from prominent institutional investors including a leading long-only mutual fund and a global investment manager.

Upon closing, expected around May 28, NANO Nuclear's cash position will exceed $200 million. The funds will be strategically deployed to advance multiple microreactor programs, support energy ventures, pursue potential acquisitions, and work toward generating initial revenue.

The company is developing several innovative reactor technologies, including the KRONOS MMR Energy System, a stationary high-temperature gas-cooled reactor in pre-application engagement with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Additional projects include the ZEUS solid core battery reactor, ODIN low-pressure coolant reactor, and the space-focused LOKI MMR.

Through its subsidiaries, NANO Nuclear is creating a vertically integrated approach to nuclear energy. Advanced Fuel Transportation Inc. aims to provide commercial HALEU fuel transportation, while HALEU Energy Fuel Inc. is developing domestic high-assay, low-enriched uranium fuel fabrication. NANO Nuclear Space Inc. is exploring microreactor applications for space exploration, with initial focus on cis-lunar environments.
