NAWBO Orlando Unveils 2025 PropelHER Pitch Competition Finalists, Highlighting Women's Entrepreneurial Innovation
The National Association of Women Business Owners Orlando has announced eight finalists across three business categories for its 2025 PropelHER Pitch Competition, showcasing diverse entrepreneurial talent from Florida's women-led businesses.

The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Orlando has selected eight innovative entrepreneurs as finalists for its 2025 PropelHER Pitch Competition, set to take place during the Take Flight Women's Business Conference on May 15, 2025.
Finalists will compete in three categories—NextGen, Emerging, and Established—with opportunities to win cash prizes and over $18,000 in professional business services. The competition aims to spotlight and support women entrepreneurs across Florida who are developing transformative business solutions.
NextGen finalists include Line Cherrelus with Hair Hub, a mobile app empowering Black women with hair care resources, and Elaina Dixon's Blossoming to Broadway, a developmental program using drama therapy to support youth growth. Emerging category participants feature innovative ventures like Janell Borrero's MoneyPOP, a fintech platform for financial coaching, and Daisy Parks' Wellside Health, a telehealth service provider.
Established category finalists demonstrate advanced entrepreneurial capabilities, including Julie Kostic's JK Creative design agency and Cristina Duncan's Leaders in Training youth development program. These businesses represent diverse industries and approaches to solving complex societal challenges.
The conference will provide networking opportunities, expert panels on marketing and funding, and keynote speakers, reinforcing NAWBO Orlando's commitment to supporting women-led businesses. According to Deanna Novak, Judging Coordinator, the finalists represent the innovation and resilience driving Florida's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
