Nevada Organic Phosphate Raises $5.75 Million for Phase 2 Drill Program at Murdock Mountain
Nevada Organic Phosphate Inc. closed the final tranche of its private placement, raising $5.75 million total to fund a Phase 2 drill program at its Murdock Mountain Property, which hosts what is believed to be the only known large-scale organic sedimentary phosphate project in North America.

Nevada Organic Phosphate Inc. (CSE: NOP; OTCQB: NOPFF) has closed the second and final tranche of its non-brokered private placement, bringing aggregate gross proceeds to approximately $5.75 million. The company announced that the final tranche raised $705,734 through the issuance of 3,920,744 units at $0.18 per unit. Proceeds from the offering are expected to be used to fund a Phase 2 drill program at the company's Murdock Mountain Property and for general working capital purposes.
The Murdock Mountain Property, located in northeast Nevada, hosts an organic sedimentary raw rock phosphate bed that is 6.6 kilometers long, with additional applications extending the potential strike of rock phosphate to over 30 kilometers. Nevada Organic Phosphate believes this to be the only known large-scale organic sedimentary phosphate project in North America. The property is situated close to the main highway to Montello/Elko, Nevada, and near the rail head to California, providing logistical advantages for potential future development.
The successful capital raise underscores investor confidence in the project's potential. Phosphate is a critical component in fertilizers, and the demand for organic phosphate sources is growing as agriculture shifts toward sustainable practices. The Phase 2 drill program aims to further delineate the resource and advance the project toward feasibility. All securities issued under the second tranche remain subject to applicable hold periods and regulatory approvals.
