NewAge Industries, Inc. has announced a strategic commitment to establish science-based greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets, marking a significant step in the company's sustainability efforts. The manufacturer will submit near- and long-term emission reduction goals within two years, covering Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions.

Under this initiative, NewAge plans to develop targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), a collaborative effort involving prominent environmental organizations including the Carbon Disclosure Project, UN Global Compact, World Resources Institute, and World Wide Fund for Nature. The commitment builds upon the company's existing achievement of attaining Net Zero Scope 2 market-based emissions.
