NIBA Announces 151st Investment Conference to Foster Micro-Cap and Small-Cap Market Connections

The National Investment Banking Association (NIBA) will host its 151st Investment Conference on September 16-17, 2025, at The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. The event serves as a critical platform for connecting micro-cap and small-cap companies with the investment community, featuring 10-minute corporate presentations followed by one-on-one meetings with seasoned investment professionals.

Executive Director Emily Foshee emphasized NIBA's decades-long role in fostering partnerships across its extensive network, which includes more than 60 industry services. The conference continues its mission to strengthen cross-industry collaboration among registered investment advisors, private equity groups, family offices, investment bankers, broker-dealers, venture capital firms, fund managers, and industry service providers.

NIBA's significance in the financial ecosystem stems from its 40-year track record of facilitating thousands of transactions totaling over $100 billion in new capital for emerging growth companies. The association has been responsible for 90% of all initial public offerings under $20 million, making it a vital conduit for small and micro-cap companies seeking market access and funding opportunities.

The conference structure allows participating companies to outline their business operations, sector opportunities, and growth roadmaps directly to potential investors and financial partners. This format has proven effective in creating meaningful connections that often lead to capital formation and strategic partnerships.

As a not-for-profit association operating since 1982, NIBA has hosted 150 previous investment conferences featuring both public and private micro-cap and small-cap companies. The organization's continued operation underscores the ongoing need for specialized platforms that bridge the gap between emerging companies and the investment community, particularly in the challenging small-cap market segment where access to capital and professional networks can determine success or failure.
