Nightfood Holdings Acquires $31 Million Holiday Inn to Launch AI-Driven Hospitality Platform
Nightfood Holdings has completed a $31 million acquisition of a California Holiday Inn property to serve as an innovation site for its AI-powered robotics platform, positioning the company at the forefront of automated hotel operations.

Nightfood Holdings Inc. (OTCQB: NGTF) has closed a $31 million share exchange agreement to acquire Victorville Treasure Holdings, LLC, owner of a 155-room Holiday Inn in Victorville, California. This acquisition represents Nightfood's first completed hotel purchase and establishes the Victorville property as the company's Robotics-as-a-Service innovation site for testing and deploying AI-powered automation solutions.
The strategic move positions Nightfood at the forefront of AI-driven hotel operations, with initial automation solutions including Skytech's Laundry Helper robot already deployed at the property. Future phases will expand automation across housekeeping, foodservice, and front-of-house functions to create a scalable Smart Hotel model that addresses heavy-duty, repetitive, and injury-prone tasks increasingly difficult to staff with human labor.
CEO Jimmy Chan stated that the acquisition provides the foundation for Nightfood's next-generation hospitality platform, combining robotics innovation with real estate growth. The company's vertically integrated model strengthens its balance sheet through ownership of asset-rich real estate while creating live deployment sites for robotics testing and operational benchmarking.
This development comes as the global service robotics industry is projected to exceed $170 billion by 2030, according to industry projections available through the company's newsroom at http://ibn.fm/NGTF. Nightfood's long-term vision includes expanding beyond hospitality into additional verticals requiring similar automation solutions, delivering scalable robotics that improve safety, efficiency, and reliability across multiple sectors.
The acquisition demonstrates how companies are leveraging AI and robotics to address labor challenges in service industries while creating new operational models. Nightfood's approach of combining real estate ownership with technology deployment represents an emerging trend in the convergence of physical assets and digital innovation in the hospitality sector.
