NW Legacy Law Sponsors Record-Breaking Halloween Event in Vancouver Community

NW Legacy Law, a local estate planning firm, has joined as a featured sponsor for the annual Holidays on Franklin Halloween celebration in Vancouver, Washington. The community event, founded by sisters Grace and Lucy Sherman, features an extensive pumpkin sale and elaborate lights display throughout October, culminating in what organizers hope will be another record-breaking trick-or-treat extravaganza on Halloween night.

The event has grown significantly in scale and recognition in recent years. Last year's celebration attracted over 12,000 trick-or-treaters to Franklin Street, setting a new attendance record that the Sherman sisters aim to surpass this year. Grace Sherman noted the event's expanding reach, stating that Halloween on Franklin has gained international recognition with media coverage extending beyond the United States to countries including Spain and Ecuador.

The sponsorship from NW Legacy Law and other local organizations helps maintain the event's elaborate displays and community offerings. The Halloween celebration features nightly light displays from 6 pm to 9 pm throughout October, enhanced by spooky animatronic attractions and special effects. On Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, the experience includes surprise guests and musical elements that complement the visual spectacle.

Community participation extends beyond the main attractions, with popcorn and pumpkin sales available on event nights and additional fundraising efforts supporting local organizations. The church across from the event site sells food and beverages to raise funds for the Boy Scouts of America, creating additional community engagement opportunities. The event welcomes pets on leashes and encourages participation from children of all ages during the Halloween night trick-or-treating from 5 pm to 9 pm.

The sponsorship reflects NW Legacy Law's integration into the Vancouver community, with the firm located near Franklin Street on the city's historic Officers Row. Other sponsors supporting the event include the Today Foundation, Pacific Northwest Fundraising, and North Pole Adventureland, demonstrating broad local support for maintaining this growing community tradition that brings thousands of visitors to the area each October.
