Open Hand Atlanta Hosts 22nd Annual Party in the Kitchen Fundraiser to Support Nutrition Programs

Open Hand Atlanta is set to host its 22nd annual Party in the Kitchen fundraiser on Thursday, Sept. 25, at The Foundry at Puritan Mill, featuring an evening of culinary excellence to support its mission of building healthier communities through nutrition. The event, one of Atlanta's most anticipated culinary fundraisers, will showcase the city's top chefs, including Peter Kaiser and Kevin Rathbun as chef co-chairs, alongside new event co-chairs Marc Castillo, Heather Froy, and Victor Macias.

The fundraiser promises an array of chef-curated tastings, craft cocktails, live and silent auctions, and musical entertainment by The American Flyers. Notable chefs such as Terry Koval, Pat Pascarella, Joseph Harrison, and Tyler Haake will present signature bites, offering guests a unique culinary experience while contributing to a powerful cause.

Matthew Pieper, CEO of Open Hand, expressed gratitude for the chefs' support, highlighting how their generosity aids in delivering thousands of nourishing meals to those in need. Prior to the main event, a VIP Patron Reception will take place on Thursday, Aug. 21, at the James A. Carlos Family Community Nutrition Center, offering sponsors and patron-level guests an exclusive preview and the chance to bid on special auction items.

Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Open Hand's programs, which provide medically tailored meals and nutrition education to individuals facing chronic or severe illness, food insecurity, and social isolation across Georgia. Tickets for the Main Event are priced at $300, with the Patron Reception Package starting at $2,000, offering access to both events. For more details, visit https://OpenHandAtlanta.org/PITK.
