PR Club Honors Excellence in Communications at 57th Annual Bell Ringer Awards

The PR Club's 57th Annual Bell Ringer Awards marked a significant milestone by returning to pre-pandemic attendance levels and introducing a new venue, the Museum of Science in Boston. The event, hosted by Emmy-nominated journalist Emily Schario, showcased the region's most impactful PR campaigns and the talented individuals driving them forward. This gathering not only celebrated achievements across the communications spectrum but also underscored the industry's resilience and innovation.

Leading the awards, Duffy & Shanley secured 12 accolades, including four Gold Bells, for their standout campaign 'Dunkin’ Launches the Dunkalatte.' RDW Group and 360PR+ also demonstrated excellence, with the latter earning the Platinum Super Bell Award for their thought leadership campaign for CarGurus, which achieved over 6 billion impressions. The evening also honored individuals like Amy Shanler, recipient of the John J. Molloy Crystal Bell Lifetime Achievement Award, for her decades of contribution to the PR community.

New awards this year, such as the Carillonneur Professional Award, recognized firms like V2 Communications for fostering outstanding workplace cultures. The event also highlighted the industry's commitment to social responsibility, raising over $1,000 for CommonWealth Kitchen, a nonprofit supporting food entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities.

The Bell Ringer Awards not only celebrate past achievements but also set a benchmark for future excellence in public relations and communications. By recognizing innovative campaigns and the professionals behind them, the awards inspire continued growth and creativity in the industry, making this event a cornerstone for New England's communications community.
