Premier Graphene Advances Initial Mexico Military Contract, Eyes Broader Defense Market
Premier Graphene has delivered a portion of its first military contract from Mexico's SEDENA, positioning the company for follow-on deals in graphene-enhanced defense products across Latin America.

Premier Graphene, Inc. (OTC: BIEI) announced on May 5, 2026, that it has begun delivering on its initial military contract awarded by Mexico's Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (SEDENA) through the Dirección General de Fábrica de Vestuario y Equipo (FAVE). A portion of the order has already been delivered, with the balance expected by May 12. The contract marks the company's formal entry into Mexico's military supply chain after extensive technical evaluation.
Mexico represents a significant strategic market, with a GDP exceeding $1.4 trillion and growing defense spending. By securing this contract, Premier Graphene and its joint venture partners—including HGI Industrial Technologies SAPI—are positioned to supply graphene-enhanced materials for military and government applications. The company's management believes successful execution could lead to follow-on agreements for military-grade protective plates (pending ITAR certification), graphene-enhanced tactical equipment, and advanced materials for vehicle and personnel protection.
“This milestone is not just about delivering an initial order—it's about establishing a foundation for long-term participation in one of the largest and most important defense markets in the region,” said Pedro Mendez, President of Premier Graphene. “With delivery expected by May 12th, we are focused on execution, validation, and scaling.”
The company is also exploring opportunities to become a premier supplier of graphene and graphene-enhanced products to military and government entities in the U.S., Mexico, and across Latin America. The global demand for high-performance materials is rising, and graphene is emerging as a critical material in defense and infrastructure. Premier Graphene's proprietary technologies and vertically integrated approach could tap into what management believes is a multi-billion-dollar addressable market.
Following delivery and evaluation of the initial production run, the company anticipates additional procurement discussions with SEDENA-linked entities, expansion into higher-value defense applications, and potential contract awards tied to graphene-enhanced military solutions. Broader regional opportunities across Latin America and near-shoring production for North American defense opportunities are also on the horizon.
Lic. Emmanuel Hernández Rico added, “Mexico’s size, economic strength, and ongoing security priorities create a substantial and expanding opportunity. This initial contract is a critical entry point.”
