Premier Graphene and HGI Secure First Contract with Mexico’s Defense Sector

Premier Graphene Inc. (OTC: BIEI), a developer of advanced graphene-based defense and protective-wear technologies, announced that it has secured its first contract with Mexico’s defense sector. The award comes through its affiliate, HGI Industrial Technologies SAPI, in coordination with joint venture partners including Nevada Ballistic Armor Corp. The contract was granted by the Dirección General de Fábrica de Vestuario y Equipo (FAVE), a division of Mexico’s Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (DEFENSA).

This milestone represents a strategic entry into Mexico’s defense manufacturing ecosystem and establishes both companies as emerging participants within a highly selective procurement framework. According to the company, test results preceding the contract award consistently met or exceeded military specifications, culminating in this initial contract. The initial production will serve as a qualifying batch, undergoing rigorous evaluation protocols including durability, performance, and compliance testing by defense authorities. Successful validation is expected to unlock larger procurement opportunities for a wide range of products.

As a Mexican company, HGI facilitated the contract through its established manufacturing network, with the coordination and support of Lic. Emmanuel Hernández Rico. The award followed a direct request for proposal from the governmental agency, prompted by the companies’ uniquely fabricated specialized belt assemblies with integrated magazine carriers, designed to protect military personnel in demanding operational conditions.

Premier Graphene and HGI delivered a competitive and technically aligned proposal, demonstrating cost efficiency and the capacity to meet stringent quality and delivery standards. The formal award reflects affirmation of both companies’ operational execution capabilities. Importantly, the companies have secured necessary financing for production and delivery costs, ensuring product delivery within 10 business days. They anticipate similar financial arrangements for future contracts.

“This contract represents more than a first award—it is an affirmation and a validation point,” said Pedro Mendez, President of both Premier Graphene and HGI. “This demonstrates our capacity to strategically navigate complex procurement environments, align with institutional requirements, and deliver solutions meeting, if not exceeding, the demanding standards of defense authorities. Equally significant, this is a start of something which we feel will be inevitably more profound, particularly with the addition of graphene in these and other products.”

The contract also opens doors to other Latin American countries with which the companies have been negotiating and supplying various equipment and products, resulting in consistently successful testing results. “After many months of intense work, we finally have the first of many contracts. We still await a successful landing of three major ongoing supply contracts currently in process,” added Lic. Hernández Rico.

Further details regarding production timelines, technical specifications, and contract expansion pathways will be communicated as milestones are achieved. Premier Graphene Inc. focuses on developing high-performance graphene materials from sustainable sources like industrial hemp, while HGI specializes in advanced carbon material production with proprietary bio-based graphene technology.
