Project Funway Fashion Show Supports Fresh Start Home's Mission to Aid Homeless Women

Project Funway, an annual fashion design competition and runway show, showcases the creativity and talent of University of Nebraska-Lincoln students and local designers while supporting Fresh Start Home, a nonprofit housing program for women experiencing homelessness. The 2024 event featured 49 unique designs that captivated over 260 attendees, demonstrating strong community support. This year's Project Funway will take place on November 7 at The Marriott Cornhusker Hotel, with ticket information available in late summer for fashion enthusiasts and philanthropists to participate.
To further support Fresh Start Home's mission, a special raffle package is being offered that includes a luxurious hotel stay, gift card, and VIP tickets to the show. Raffle tickets are priced at $10 each, providing additional opportunities for attendees to contribute to the cause. The event represents a significant fundraising opportunity for the nonprofit's housing programs.
