The Puerto Rico Day at the Ballpark events honor the island's rich baseball history and its players, showcasing Puerto Rican culture and encouraging fans to experience its unique way of life.

The Puerto Rico Day at the Ballpark, presented by 21 Events and sponsored by Discover Puerto Rico, is set to celebrate Puerto Rico's 125-year baseball history and its players at Major League Baseball stadiums across the United States in 2025. This initiative not only pays tribute to the island's significant contributions to baseball but also highlights its vibrant culture, music, cuisine, and the warm spirit of its people.
Scheduled events will take place at stadiums including Citi Field, Citizen Bank Park, Truist Park, Rate Field, and PNC Park, among others, following a successful 2023-24 season that honored notable Puerto Rican players such as Ivan 'Pudge' Rodriguez and Francisco Lindor. Glorianna Yamin, VP of Marketing at Discover Puerto Rico, emphasized the deep connection between Puerto Rico and baseball, stating it's a fundamental part of the island's DNA and history.
Ralph Paniagua, Managing Director of 21 Events, reflected on Puerto Rico's unique place in baseball history, noting it was the first location where African Americans, Anglo, and Latino ballplayers played together in the 1940s. The Puerto Rico Day at the Ballpark events serve as a bridge connecting fans to the island's rich baseball legacy and cultural heritage, inviting them to 'Live Boricua' and explore the vibrant lifestyle Puerto Rico has to offer.
