q.beyond Launches 'AI Act as a Service' to Help Companies Navigate EU AI Regulation

q.beyond AG has launched a new offering called 'AI Act as a Service' to help companies evaluate their AI systems and obtain an auditable assessment of AI-related risks, including documentation and verification. The service aims to support managers responsible for AI in placing their applications on a safe regulatory footing, thereby accelerating AI deployment and boosting productivity gains.

The EU AI Act, the world's first legal framework for deploying artificial intelligence, is already in force and gradually taking binding effect. Key dates include August 2026 for most general requirements and December 2027 for high-risk AI systems. The regulation seeks to minimize risks to security, health, and basic rights while promoting innovation. The requirements depend on the potential risk posed by an AI application, not the company's size.

q.beyond's new service addresses the challenge of regulatory compliance for companies of all sizes and sectors. It provides an overview of regulatory risks associated with AI systems already in use or planned. Many companies already deploy dozens of large language models and agents. The service can be booked online without prior integration and offers a free trial version alongside monthly subscriptions.

"Companies can start directly with AI Act as a Service and promptly obtain an auditable risk assessment," said Dr. Daniel Taradzic, Chief AI Officer at q.beyond AG. "This way, we are enabling companies to maximize their productivity gains from AI and automation while simultaneously minimizing their regulatory risks." The service targets corporate decision-makers such as CIOs, compliance managers, and CISOs.

The service has already attracted attention during its trial phase and is being used productively. Ingo List, Managing Director of Antares Project GmbH, noted: "We were confronted with the same challenge that many companies face at the moment: We had several thousand active AI users but no assessment of the EU AI Act requirements. Thanks to AI Act as a Service, we no longer have this problem."

q.beyond also advises companies on deploying AI securely and in line with data protection, offering a 'Private Enterprise AI' platform for processing sensitive information. The company develops AI agents for sectors including retail, manufacturing, logistics, banking, healthcare, and the public sector.
