RapidFire Safety & Security, a leader in the fire, life safety, and security industry, has acquired Tri-X, a 37-year-old fire and security systems integrator based in San Dimas, California. This strategic move not only broadens RapidFire's service offerings but also significantly strengthens its footprint in Southern California, marking its 10th acquisition in the state.

Tri-X, founded in 1988, has evolved from a telephone and alarm installation business into a full-service low voltage systems integrator. Serving Greater Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Ventura counties, Tri-X specializes in security and fire alarm services, including installations and NFPA-compliant testing. Their expertise in modern technology and electronic applications has made them a trusted provider for commercial and industrial environments, including schools and healthcare facilities.

The acquisition is poised to enhance RapidFire's capabilities in the Southern California market, offering clients a wider range of products and services. Brian Modglin, Chief Operating Officer of RapidFire, highlighted the synergy between the two companies, noting Tri-X's deep expertise and reputation for client relationships as complementary to RapidFire's vision of delivering comprehensive life safety solutions.

John De Sousa, Rapid Fire Western Regional Manager, emphasized the strategic fit of Tri-X within RapidFire's growth trajectory in Southern California. The addition of Tri-X's services and client base aligns with RapidFire's people-centric, family-built strategy, promising enhanced service delivery and expanded solutions for fire protection and security needs.

Ron Podojil and Jana Ferrari of Tri-X expressed enthusiasm about joining RapidFire, citing the opportunity to leverage RapidFire's cutting-edge technology and skilled workforce to benefit their customers. This acquisition represents a new chapter for Tri-X, its employees, and its clients, promising faster service and a broader range of solutions.
