Road to Responsibility Recognized as a Best Place to Work for Fourth Year
Road to Responsibility has been named a Best Place to Work by Cape & Plymouth Business Media for the fourth consecutive year, highlighting its commitment to creating a positive work environment for its employees.

Road to Responsibility (RTR), a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, has been honored as a Best Place to Work by Cape & Plymouth Business Media for the fourth year in a row. This recognition underscores RTR's ongoing commitment to fostering a workplace culture that values employee satisfaction, growth, and inclusivity.
Selected from 39 nominated organizations, RTR was evaluated on several key criteria, including team culture, hiring practices, training programs, community service, and company communication. The organization's dedication to creating a supportive and flexible work environment, offering a range of benefits such as recognition programs, in-house management training, and discounted tuition rates, has set it apart as a leader in employee satisfaction.
Christopher T. White, Ed.D., president and CEO of Road to Responsibility, expressed his gratitude for the recognition, stating, 'Creating an environment and culture where employees feel heard, valued, and appreciated has always been a priority. It’s rewarding to know that we are achieving that goal.' This accolade not only reflects the organization's internal achievements but also its broader mission to support individuals with disabilities in leading fulfilling lives within the community.
With a history spanning 37 years, RTR has established itself as a cornerstone of support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the South Shore and South Coast of Massachusetts. Operating 49 residences and nine day-service locations, RTR's integrated clinical behavioral approach has proven successful in serving those with significant challenges, often where other organizations have not.
The honorees will be celebrated at an awards ceremony on September 4th at the Margaritaville Resort Cape Cod. For more information about Road to Responsibility and its services, visit https://www.roadtoresponsibility.org.
