Legendary Texas musician Robert Earl Keen is set to host a benefit concert, 'Applause for the Cause,' on August 28th at the Whitewater Amphitheater in New Braunfels, TX, to aid flood relief efforts in the Texas Hill Country. The event boasts an impressive lineup including Tyler Childers, Miranda Lambert, Jon Randall, Jack Ingram, and many more, with all proceeds directed to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country.
The fundraiser comes in response to the devastating floods in Kerr County on July 4th, aiming to support affected families and communities. Tickets, available at whitewaterrocks.com, range from $99 for general admission to $200 for reserved seats, with 100% of the proceeds going to the foundation. Additionally, attendees have the option to purchase tickets for local first responders.
Buc-ee’s, a major sponsor, has already pledged $1 million to the cause, with founder Beaver Aplin emphasizing the importance of community support in times of tragedy.
