Rural King, the largest privately owned farm and home retailer in the United States, has announced a partnership with Grammy-nominated artist Anne Wilson for a benefit concert aimed at supporting the communities affected by the devastating tornado that hit eastern Kentucky in May. The event, set to take place on August 11 at the Corbin Arena in Corbin, Kentucky, promises an evening of music and hope, with all proceeds directed towards tornado recovery efforts.

The concert will benefit The Sheppard Family Foundation, which is directly assisting families in London and Laurel County, and the Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky's Appalachian Tornado Relief Fund, offering support across the region. For those unable to attend in person, the concert will be livestreamed on Veeps, with tickets available for purchase, ensuring widespread participation in this noble cause.

Anne Wilson, a Kentucky native, expressed her heartfelt connection to the event, stating, "Kentucky is my home, and both the London and Somerset areas hold such dear memories for me." She emphasized the concert's goal to bring healing, comfort, and strength to those in need, marking her first performance at the Corbin Arena, a venue close to her heart.

Amy Shafer, RK Foundation director, shared Rural King's enthusiasm for the partnership, noting the company's deep ties to Kentucky communities. "With several stores in Kentucky, these communities are part of our Rural King family, and we appreciate the opportunity to help support them during this recovery period," Shafer remarked.

Tickets for the in-person event start at $43.55, with livestream access beginning at $9.99, offering various options for supporters to contribute to the relief efforts. This initiative underscores the significant role of corporate and artistic collaborations in addressing community needs during times of crisis, showcasing the unifying power of music and collective action.
