Rural King Partners with Anne Wilson for Faith-Based Community Concert Series

Rural King, a family-owned retailer dedicated to the rural lifestyle, is partnering with platinum-certified, Grammy-nominated artist Anne Wilson for the Harvest of Hope: On the Road tour. The family-friendly concert series celebrates faith, family and community across rural America through three scheduled performances this fall.

The partnership represents Rural King Foundation's annual Harvest of Hope: On the Road initiative, with Wilson performing and meeting fans at Rural King locations in Dothan, Alabama on November 5, Cross Lanes, West Virginia on November 22, and Waverly, Ohio on December 10. Amy Shafer, foundation director for Rural King, emphasized the alignment of values between the retailer and the artist. Rural King is proud to partner with Anne Wilson, whose music embodies the same values of faith, family and community that we hold close to our hearts, Shafer said. Together, we're uplifting rural America through music and shared purpose.

Wilson expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, noting the broader significance beyond musical performance. I'm honored to join forces with Rural King to bring Harvest of Hope to life in local communities, Wilson said. These events are about more than music. They're about bringing people together to celebrate what matters most. Each stop will feature a one-hour performance and community gathering designed to inspire hope, connection and service, with all events free to the public.

The initiative supports local causes and brings families together through meaningful experiences, reflecting Rural King's six-decade legacy of building strong community connections. The retailer has grown from its 1960 founding in Mattoon, Illinois to more than 140 stores across sixteen states, maintaining its commitment to rural communities throughout its expansion. Fans can follow the journey and share their experiences using #HarvestOfHope and #RuralKingFamily. For more information about the Harvest of Hope: On the Road tour, visit Rural King's Facebook page.

Wilson's involvement brings significant artistic credibility to the initiative, with the 23-year-old artist having already crossed the 2 billion streams milestone and emerging as one of the most distinctive new voices in both Christian and country music. Her third studio album, Stars, captures themes of grief, growth, maturity and wonder, shaped by the tragic loss of her brother Jacob. The album reflects both the hardship of loss and the joy of new perspective, carried by Wilson's soaring vocals and country-pop production.

The Harvest of Hope tour represents a strategic alignment between corporate community engagement and artistic mission, creating shared value for both Rural King and the communities it serves. By providing free, family-friendly events that emphasize core rural values, the initiative strengthens community bonds while supporting local causes. The tour's timing during the fall harvest season adds symbolic significance to its message of hope and connection in rural America.
