Russell Ferber Foundation Comedy FUNdraiser Marks Two Decades of Supporting Culinary Education and Learning Differences
The 20th Annual Russell Ferber Foundation Comedy FUNdraiser will bring together top comedic talent to raise funds for culinary scholarships and support educational programs for students with learning differences, continuing a legacy of honoring Russell Ferber's memory.

The Russell Ferber Foundation will host its milestone 20th Annual Comedy FUNdraiser in New York City, celebrating two decades of supporting aspiring culinary students and promoting educational opportunities for individuals with learning differences.
The event, scheduled for Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Village Community School, will feature a star-studded comedy lineup including Jordan Carlos, Greg Wilson, and Janeane Garofalo. Hosted by comedian and podcaster Jordon Ferber, the fundraiser aims to continue the legacy of Russell Ferber, who died tragically at 21 just after completing his culinary arts degree.
Since its founding in 2003, the Russell Ferber Foundation has partnered with Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) to provide culinary training and mentorship to inner-city high school students. The foundation also maintains a fully endowed scholarship at the Culinary Institute of America and supports the VCS Russell Ferber Memorial Fund, which offers educational and psychological services to students with learning differences.
Sponsored by Grandaisy Bakery and Jeremy's Ale House, the event will offer guests an opportunity to meet scholarship recipients and sample their culinary creations. Attendees can expect an evening of comedy, community support, and meaningful philanthropy that transforms educational opportunities for young aspiring chefs.
