The Sheila Y. Oliver Foundation hosted its second annual Legacy Brunch on July 26, 2025, at the Valley Regency in Clifton, New Jersey, bringing together over 350 guests from various sectors to celebrate the legacy of the late Lieutenant Governor Sheila Y. Oliver and honor nine influential women leaders in New Jersey. The event, featuring award-winning actress Tisha Campbell as the keynote speaker, underscored the foundation's commitment to empowering underserved communities and fostering the next generation of women leaders in government, public policy, and community organizing.

Governor Phil Murphy praised the honorees for embodying the integrity, compassion, and tenacity that Sheila Y. Oliver was known for, emphasizing the ongoing impact of her legacy in shaping New Jersey's future. The brunch also marked the organization's rebranding to the Sheila Y. Oliver Foundation, reflecting its expanded vision for civic engagement and leadership development.
