Sola Salon Studios to Open at Atlanta's 1200 White Street Development

Sola Salon Studios, a leading salon studio franchise with more than 700 locations nationwide, has leased 7,952 square feet at 1200 White Street, an adaptive reuse mixed-use development in Atlanta's West End. The salon studio is targeting an early 2026 opening in the 211,585-square-foot warehouse building undergoing transformation into retail, restaurant, creative office, and experiential spaces.

The expansion signifies the continued revitalization of Atlanta's West End neighborhood through strategic commercial development. Kelley Morrissey, franchise owner of the Sola Salon location, emphasized the importance of providing health and beauty professionals with business opportunities within their own community while benefiting from the area's transformation. The location's convenient access to the Atlanta Westside BeltLine adds significant value for both business owners and clients.

The 1200 White Street development, owned by Atlanta-based Ackerman & Co. and Belgium-based Baltisse, represents the growing trend of adaptive reuse projects converting industrial spaces into modern mixed-use destinations. Leo Wiener, President of Ackerman Retail, noted that Sola Salon Studios' addition contributes to building a dynamic destination that brings together diverse businesses and retailers while creating career growth opportunities for beauty professionals.

The new location will feature 41 customized salon suites accommodating various health and beauty specialties, continuing Sola Salon Studios' mission of providing fully-equipped private studios alongside business support, educational resources, and technology solutions. This expansion follows the recent opening of Dill Dinkers pickleball facility at the same development, marking another major franchise's entry into the Atlanta market.

The lease signing involved Ackerman Retail's Kelly Wilson, Suzanne Shank and Patrick Green representing ownership, with Sarah Williams of COUNCIL Real Estate representing Sola Salon Studios. The development's proximity to Lee + White, a 442,000-square-foot redevelopment of the former "Warehouse Row" co-owned by Ackerman with MDH Partners, further establishes the West End as an emerging entertainment and business hub.
