SOUL-ED School Tour Introduces Mindfulness and Conscious Education to Philippine Classrooms
The SOUL-ED School Tour, launched by The Lighthouse Foundation, aims to transform Philippine education by integrating mindfulness and self-awareness into the curriculum to address students' mental health challenges.

The SOUL-ED School Tour has officially launched in the Philippines, marking a significant shift towards incorporating mindfulness and conscious education into the academic lives of students. Spearheaded by The Lighthouse Foundation, this initiative seeks to address the growing mental health challenges among students by blending science with spirituality. The program includes interactive talks, guided meditations, and lessons on energy, emotions, and consciousness, focusing on the five core pillars of awareness: actions, words, thoughts, emotions, and intentions.
Leshara Maniego, founder of The Lighthouse Foundation, emphasizes the transformative potential of the SOUL-ED Tour, stating it's designed to awaken students' innate potential and help them overcome anxiety, stress, and self-doubt. The program's modules, rooted in neuroscience and emotional intelligence, aim to equip students with the skills to shift from a victim to a creator mindset, regulate their emotions, and align their goals with their purpose.
Participating schools in the SOUL-ED program will be recognized with the "Pioneer School for Higher Learning Education" award, highlighting their commitment to fostering a conscious, future-ready generation. With pilot schools across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, the initiative is poised for rapid expansion, inviting partnerships from both public and private institutions.
Maniego's vision for the future of education is one that transcends academic achievement, focusing instead on cultivating inner mastery and purpose among students. The SOUL-ED School Tour represents a pivotal step towards realizing this vision, offering a holistic approach to education that prepares students not just for exams, but for life.
