Stevens Creek Toyota Partners with Humane Society Silicon Valley for 'Tacoma for Tails' Pet Supply Drive
Stevens Creek Toyota's month-long supply drive supporting Humane Society Silicon Valley addresses critical pet care needs during the holiday season while strengthening community partnerships.

Stevens Creek Toyota has launched a month-long pet supply drive benefiting Humane Society Silicon Valley, with a special community event scheduled for November 22, 2025. The "Tacoma for Tails" initiative aims to collect essential supplies for pets in need throughout the holiday season, when demand for assistance typically increases.
The partnership between the automotive dealership and animal welfare organization represents a strategic community collaboration addressing pressing needs for pet care resources. Donations collected throughout November will help stock HSSV's shelter and community programs that provide food, supplies, and critical care to pets and families. This support becomes particularly crucial during holiday months when many families face additional financial pressures.
Nancy Willis, Vice President of Strategic Growth at Humane Society Silicon Valley, emphasized the immediate impact of such community drives. "Community drives like 'Tacoma for Tails' have a direct, immediate impact on pets and the people who love them," Willis stated. "Every bag of food, every leash, every toy helps us provide care, keep families together, and create a stronger, brighter future for animals across our region."
The special "Tacoma for Tails" celebration on Saturday, November 22, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Stevens Creek Toyota will feature donation drop-offs, opportunities to meet adoptable animals, and interactions with the teams supporting them. Most-needed items include dry and canned dog or cat food, puppy and kitten formula, treats, toys, leashes, collars, harnesses, cat litter, grooming supplies, blankets, towels, and enrichment items.
Ray Khandan, General Manager of Stevens Creek Toyota, highlighted the personal significance of the partnership. "This partnership means a lot to us—not just as a business, but as members of this community," Khandan said. "Pets bring so much joy and companionship into our lives, and we're honored to help ensure every animal gets the care and love they deserve."
Monetary gifts to support HSSV's lifesaving work and fire rebuild efforts are also being accepted alongside physical donations. Humane Society Silicon Valley, which has served the community since 1929 and secured permanent homes for more than 500,000 animals, maintains an extensive website at https://HSSV.org with additional information about their programs and services.
The supply drive demonstrates how corporate-community partnerships can effectively address local needs while raising awareness about animal welfare challenges. By combining resources and outreach capabilities, both organizations can amplify their impact during a period when many families struggle to provide adequate care for their pets.
