Tactical Resources Advances U.S. Rare Earth Production with Texas Peak Project

Tactical Resources, a mineral exploration company focused on U.S.-made rare earth elements, is advancing its Peak Project in Texas to strengthen American supply chain sovereignty for materials essential to semiconductors, electric vehicles, advanced robotics, and national defense. The company's CEO, Ranjeet Sundher, emphasizes that rare earth elements exhibit unique electromagnetic properties indispensable for modern technologies, yet Chinese-controlled supply chains create vulnerabilities for Western interests.

The Peak Project, strategically located southeast of El Paso, Texas, is an operational mine with existing permitting and infrastructure, including highway and rail access. It is one of only a few rare earth hard rock direct-leach-extractable projects globally, allowing Tactical Resources to bypass extra processing steps and reduce development costs compared to greenfield projects. The site benefits from proven REE-enriched tailings already extracted and a significant byproduct stockpile from Sierra Blanca Quarry's long-term operations, providing a head start for rare earth extraction.

Tactical Resources has achieved key milestones, including a strategic agreement with Sierra Blanca Quarry and a business combination agreement with Plum Acquisition Corp. III to pursue a Nasdaq listing, which will facilitate additional capital raising and accelerate development. The U.S. government's support through public-private partnerships and funding addresses challenges like limited processing capacity and competitive pricing against Chinese suppliers, aiming to build a robust domestic rare earth supply chain.

Looking ahead, Tactical Resources plans to complete its Nasdaq listing, advance pilot testing and flowsheet optimization, and ultimately construct a rare earth extraction facility at the Peak Project. This initiative positions the company to capitalize on growing commercial and government demand for rare earths, reducing geopolitical risks and enhancing national security.
