The round was led by Decibel and Wing VC, with additional investments from PrimeSet, strategic investors, and notable figures in the tech industry. Pixee's innovative approach leverages agentic AI and deterministic techniques to automate the resolution of application security vulnerabilities, promising to reduce the time needed for patching from weeks to mere days.
The startup, founded by Surag Patel and Arshan Dabirsiaghi, aims to alleviate the security burden on developers by integrating automated, production-ready code fixes directly into developer workflows. This not only enhances security but also boosts productivity, allowing enterprises to ship secure code at unprecedented speeds. Pixee's technology has already demonstrated significant impact, with early enterprise customers reporting a 91% recapture of developer remediation time and a 74% reduction in security triage time.
