The Little Gym to Open in Plymouth, Offering Child Development and Gymnastics Programs

The Little Gym, a globally recognized enrichment and physical development center for children, is making its way to Plymouth, with its doors set to open on August 9, 2025. This new facility aims to play a pivotal role in the development of thousands of local children, offering programs designed for ages four months through 12 years. The initiative is spearheaded by local owners Pete and Kristen Marshall, who were inspired by their personal experiences with The Little Gym as young parents and later, as grandparents witnessing the joy it brought to their grandson.

The Marshalls, after successful careers in IT and real estate respectively, decided to embark on this new venture to create a meaningful impact on children and families in their community. Their 4,000+ square foot location will not only provide a space for children to grow and explore but also create 10 new jobs, fostering a sense of community among parents and offering a supportive environment for every child to thrive. Managed by Sara Hall, a Pembroke native with over twenty years of experience in gymnastics, The Little Gym of Plymouth is poised to become a cornerstone for early childhood development in the area.

Programs at The Little Gym of Plymouth are tailored to enhance coordination, listening, and intellectual skills through movement-based learning and imaginative play. From Parent/Child classes to pre-K and grade school gymnastics, the offerings are designed to build confidence and social skills. Additionally, the gym will host Awesome Birthday Bashes, Camps, Parent Survival Nights, and Member Events, providing a comprehensive suite of activities for families. With nearly 400 locations across 31 countries, The Little Gym's mission is to support children's physical, cognitive, and social and emotional development through its Three-Dimensional learning approach.
