The ProMedia Group Hires Troy Fernandez as Project Manager to Support National Expansion
Troy Fernandez, a veteran with over 20 years of global project leadership, joins The ProMedia Group to oversee AV integration projects, strengthening the company's ability to deliver complex solutions in sports, stadiums, and other sectors.

The ProMedia Group (PMG), a Tampa-based audiovisual and technology integration solutions provider, has announced the addition of Troy Fernandez as Project Manager. The hire comes as the company continues to expand its national footprint, particularly in the sports and stadium space.
Fernandez brings more than two decades of global program and project leadership experience, having managed large-scale design and construction initiatives across multiple continents. His resume includes managing a global portfolio of active projects across 30 international offices as Program Manager at Watchtower in Tuxedo Park, New York, and serving as Global Design Director, where he led the development of design standards across 84 international branches. Earlier in his career, he spent 15 years at AECOM in New York, working on major infrastructure projects including the World Trade Center PATH Terminal.
Fernandez was attracted to PMG by the opportunity to work in new types of facilities and technologies. “PMG is involved in a number of exciting projects, especially in the sports and stadium space,” he said. “I’ve spent my career managing residential and commercial work, but this is a chance to be part of something different — to get more hands-on and be on the other side of the process, especially in AV and broadcast environments.”
His project delivery approach emphasizes collaboration and alignment. “No matter the size of the project, the fundamentals are the same,” Fernandez explained. “Surround yourself with qualified people, work as a team, and keep everyone aligned toward the end goal.” With a strong background in design and construction, he understands how to bridge gaps between teams, having worked closely with designers throughout his career. “I’ve been in their shoes before, so I know how to work alongside designers and help keep everything on track,” he said.
Ken Avis, CEO of The ProMedia Group, highlighted the strategic value of the hire. “Adding someone with this level of global experience and leadership strengthens our ability to deliver exceptional results for our clients,” he said. “His expertise in managing complex, multi-site projects aligns perfectly with our commitment to excellence and continued growth.”
In his new role, Fernandez will oversee AV integration projects from design through installation, supporting PMG’s expansion and commitment to high-performance solutions. The company provides tailored AV solutions for commercial clients across healthcare, education, corporate, and government sectors, and has been recognized as one of Tampa Bay’s Best Places to Work.
