Third Annual Hill Country Mile Rod Run Expands to Include More Classic Vehicles in 2025

The Third Annual Hill Country Mile Rod Run returns to downtown Boerne on Saturday, October 11, 2025, featuring an expanded vehicle eligibility that now includes American-made cars and trucks built in 1985 or earlier, as well as race cars. This change allows more participants to join the celebration of American automotive heritage, enhancing the event's inclusivity and appeal.

Registration for the car show is $40 per vehicle and includes an event T-shirt, Sunday drive map, and swag. The weekend kicks off with a Pre-Show Party on Friday, October 10, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at West San Antonio Road, where participants can register early, tune up their rides, and enjoy live music. The main event on Saturday runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., transforming Boerne's downtown into a classic car haven with hundreds of vehicles on display.

Awards will be presented at 3 p.m. on Saturday at the gazebo at Main Plaza, with all registered vehicles automatically considered for various categories. The event concludes on Sunday, October 12, with the Sunday Rod Run, a leisurely cruise through the scenic Hill Country roads. Larry Woods, Director of Visit Boerne, emphasized the event's role as a community staple, bringing together enthusiasts, restorers, and families.
