Tint World Expands Midwest Presence with Carmel Location, Signaling Automotive Aftermarket Growth

Tint World Automotive Styling Centers has opened its newest location in Carmel, Indiana, marking a significant expansion for the automotive accessories and window tinting franchise in the Midwest market. The 7,500-square-foot facility at 9700 Lakeshore Dr E, Ste. 1 positions the company to serve both automotive enthusiasts and everyday drivers across Carmel and the greater Indianapolis suburbs with comprehensive vehicle customization services.

The Carmel location offers Tint World's full range of signature services including window tinting, paint protection film, vinyl wraps, detailing, mobile electronics, remote starts, and ceramic coatings. This expansion comes as part of a multi-unit development agreement that includes planned locations in Zionsville and Noblesville, with discussions underway for further expansion in northern Indiana and Michigan.

Owners Ron Huling and Barney Storrs bring more than 40 years of franchise experience to the operation, having previously owned and managed more than a dozen Planet Fitness locations across multiple states. Their transition to the automotive services sector reflects the growing market opportunity in vehicle customization and protection services. The owners recognized Tint World as fitting Carmel's community values of quality, innovation, and local business focus.

The new location has already begun developing partnerships with local dealerships including Tom Wood Porsche, Penske Honda/Chevrolet, and Penske Collision Center. Future plans include expanding into fleet wrapping and municipal service work for local fire and police departments, creating additional revenue streams beyond consumer services.

Charles J. Bonfiglio, CEO of Tint World, emphasized the strategic importance of the expansion, noting that Huling and Storrs' track record as successful multi-unit operators aligns with the company's growth vision for the Midwest region. The Carmel location represents Tint World's continued national and international expansion as the automotive aftermarket industry experiences increased demand for vehicle protection and customization services.

To celebrate the grand opening on November 8, the location will host a community event featuring 20% off all services, free ceramic coating with premium paint protection film packages, raffle giveaways including $500 gift cards, vendor displays, and a donation drive benefiting the local Humane Society.
