Troy University has selected TheLinkU, a premier NIL platform, to enhance Name, Image, and Likeness opportunities for its student-athletes across all 16 sports programs. The partnership aims to provide comprehensive resources and support to maximize athlete potential and revenue generation.

Troy University has selected TheLinkU, a leading Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) platform, to manage and expand NIL opportunities for its student-athletes. The partnership will provide Troy's 16 sports programs with comprehensive resources designed to support athletes' personal brand development and financial growth.
TheLinkU will offer Troy Athletics a full suite of services, including national brand partnerships, revenue sharing modeling software, a NIL marketplace, personalized merchandise shops, and financial advisory services. By leveraging these tools, the university aims to create a more robust and supportive environment for its student-athletes.
The transition involves the Trojans Together Collective, which will now have its operations managed entirely by TheLinkU. Chuck Carson, co-founder of the collective, expressed confidence in the partnership, highlighting it as a strategic move to lead NIL opportunities in the Sun Belt Conference.
Troy University's athletic leadership views this partnership as a critical recruiting advantage. Brent Jones, director of athletics, and Gerad Parker, head football coach, emphasized that the comprehensive NIL support will help attract and retain top talent by creating an attractive environment for student-athletes.
Beyond individual athlete support, TheLinkU provides strategic business partnerships that can generate sustainable revenue for universities. The platform aims to reduce donor dependency and create long-term financial opportunities for athletic departments.
Austin Elrod, TheLinkU's founder, underscored the company's mission to equip student-athletes with tools for maximizing their potential, drawing from his own experience as a former student-athlete and extensive work with athletic directors nationwide.
