Trumark Homes Expands Riverside County Presence with 314 New Homes
Trumark Homes' acquisition of two Riverside County land parcels for 314 new homes addresses Southern California's housing shortage while strategically positioning the company in a high-demand market.

Trumark Homes has secured land for two new residential communities in Riverside County, adding 314 homes to Southern California's housing inventory amid intense competition for developable land. The acquisition represents a significant strategic expansion for the homebuilder in one of the state's most competitive real estate markets.
Richard Douglass, Southern California Division President at Trumark Homes, emphasized the significance of securing land in such a high-demand market. "Securing land in Southern California is increasingly competitive, and we are fortunate to have acquired two prime sites," Douglass stated. The investment reflects the company's long-term confidence in the region's continued growth and reinforces its commitment to building communities that meet diverse buyer needs, including first-time homebuyers.
The larger development, Solara in Temescal Valley, will feature 224 single-family detached homes divided into two neighborhoods called Radiance and Horizon. The community will offer seven distinct floor plans ranging from 2,679 to 4,049 square feet, with three to five bedrooms and two-and-a-half to five-and-a-half bathrooms. This variety addresses the growing demand for larger family homes in the region.
Florita in Corona will comprise 90 homes split between two neighborhoods. Petal will contain 44 townhomes with three floor plans ranging from 1,331 to 1,733 square feet, featuring two to three bedrooms and two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half bathrooms. Bloom will offer 46 single-family detached homes with three floor plans from 1,246 to 1,717 square feet, containing three to four bedrooms and two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half bathrooms. This mixed-density approach caters to different market segments and price points.
Both communities benefit from strategic locations in Riverside, surrounded by top-rated schools, restaurants, and shopping destinations. Their proximity to Corona Lake, Cleveland National Forest, and major transportation corridors like the 91 and I-15 freeways provides residents with access to regional business centers and recreational amenities. Douglass highlighted the strategic nature of the expansion, noting that "continuing our expansion throughout Southern California is a strategic and thoughtful process." The company's focus on identifying future projects aligns with broader efforts to increase housing inventory in a region experiencing persistent supply shortages. The timing of these acquisitions positions Trumark Homes to capitalize on sustained demand while contributing to addressing California's housing crisis.
