UGI Utilities will commence a significant natural gas system upgrade project in Topton Borough starting Wednesday, November 12, as part of the company's ongoing commitment to maintaining safe and reliable energy infrastructure. The project involves replacing aging natural gas mains and presents conversion opportunities for properties along the construction route to switch to natural gas service.

The infrastructure improvements will primarily affect several key areas including the intersection of Weis Street and South Home Avenue, South Home Avenue and Home Avenue from Weis Street, Reinert Drive at Tower Drive, and the rear parking lots of Brandywine Community Library and Diakon Lutheran Ministries. Construction activities are scheduled to occur Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with completion anticipated by mid-December, though weather conditions may impact the timeline.
