The Mad Hatter's July 4th Waterfront Festival is set to celebrate its 12th year on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Barbara Kondylis Waterfront Park in Vallejo, California. The event, produced by Hyperion Community Partners LLC in partnership with the City of Vallejo, has become a go-to attraction for thousands of visitors, offering a mix of food, recreation, and entertainment throughout the day and into the evening.

The festival transforms the waterfront into a vibrant hub from daybreak to sundown, featuring an array of peddlers and merchants, including makers, food trucks, wellness activities, and family-friendly attractions. Attendees can overlook Mare Island's historic maritime ships docked at the island's shipbuilding facilities while enjoying the festivities. Highlights include the popular Annual Maritime Dog Parade, interactive exhibits with the Wholly Wackers (sheep), rescued reptiles, a Kids Zone, giant kites, classic cars, cultural performances, and live music.

As dusk falls, the event transitions into a family-friendly Night Market, offering an international food court with a variety of cuisines, shopping opportunities, and live performances. The evening culminates in a Lighted Sky Show with a grand finale, celebrating Independence Day's 250th anniversary.

Hyperion Community Partners LLC also produces the Mad Hatter Holiday Festival, Parade & Tree Lighting on the first Saturday of December each year. Both events have grown in popularity, drawing attendees from across the region.
