Verizon Announces Its Largest Free Ticket Giveaway for FIFA World Cup 2026
Verizon is giving away over 2,500 free tickets for FIFA World Cup 2026 matches, including pitchside Golden Tickets, in a massive drop on June 1 via the My Verizon app, while also offering FOX One streaming perks to customers.

Verizon, the Official Telecommunication Services Sponsor for FIFA World Cup 2026, has announced its largest free ticket giveaway for the tournament, with over 2,500 tickets available across 64 matches in all U.S. host cities. The drop, which includes hundreds of “Golden Tickets” for pitchside access, will take place on June 1 at 3:00 PM ET / 2:00 PM CT / 12:00 PM PT exclusively through Verizon Access in the My Verizon app. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and accounts can only claim tickets to games within 150 miles of their home address, as travel and accommodation are not included.
This giveaway marks Verizon’s largest ticket drop yet for the most highly anticipated sporting event, following thousands of free tickets already distributed. “At Verizon, we’re obsessed with giving our customers access and experiences that are above and beyond,” said Leslie Berland, Chief Marketing Officer, Verizon. “This is our biggest FIFA World Cup ticket drop yet for the most highly anticipated sporting event. And with perks like Fox One, we’re making it easy for our customers to watch the game.”
To promote the giveaway, Verizon debuted a new commercial featuring David Beckham, highlighting how Verizon provides “Ultimate Access” to the tournament. The ticket drop covers all U.S. host cities, with specific matches timed for each time zone: Pacific Time cities like Seattle and Los Angeles at 12 PM PT, Central Time cities like Kansas City and Dallas at 2 PM CT, and East Coast cities including Boston, New York/New Jersey, and Miami at 3 PM ET.
In addition to tickets, Verizon is enhancing the viewing experience for customers. New Verizon Home Internet customers can get 3 months of FOX One on us, while myPlan customers can add FOX One as a monthly perk for $15/month, a savings of nearly $5 off the standard retail price. FOX One provides live and on-demand content of sports, news, and entertainment.
