Vertiv, a global leader in critical digital infrastructure, has announced the appointment of Mike Giresi as its new Global Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective June 30, 2025. Giresi's role will focus on advancing the company's initiatives in AI adoption, cybersecurity, product security, and digital-enabled productivity and customer experience. This strategic appointment underscores Vertiv's commitment to maintaining its industry leadership through innovation and digital transformation.
Giordano (Gio) Albertazzi, Vertiv CEO, highlighted the importance of strong digital and IT vision for the company's strategy, emphasizing Giresi's deep understanding of the evolving digital landscape and his ability to reinforce Vertiv's competitive advantages. With over 30 years of IT experience, including more than 20 in chief leadership roles, Giresi brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Vertiv. His previous roles include chief digital officer at Molex, chief digital & technology officer at Aramark, and CIO positions at Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd., Tory Burch, Direct Brands, and Godiva Chocolatier. Giresi's educational background includes an EMBA from Saint Joseph’s University and a BA from Seton Hall University.
