The nationwide implementation of Virdee's digital check-in technology across Great Wolf Lodge's 22 resorts has significantly improved guest arrival efficiency, reduced congestion, and enhanced operational capabilities for the hospitality chain.

Virdee, Inc. has successfully completed a nationwide rollout of specialized check-in kiosks for Great Wolf Lodge across 22 indoor water park resorts. The technology platform delivers faster, more seamless arrival experiences for guests through both in-lobby kiosks and pre-arrival mobile options via the brand's mobile app or mobile web.
Each property now features Virdee-powered kiosks with integrated RFID wristband dispensers that serve multiple functions including room keys, waterpark passes, and cashless payment devices for food and beverage purchases. This comprehensive approach streamlines every touchpoint of the guest journey, with Virdee now processing over one million check-ins annually across the Great Wolf Lodge portfolio.
Ramki Srinivasan, Chief Digital & Information Officer at Great Wolf Lodge, stated that the platform has enabled reduced congestion during peak arrival times, enhanced guest satisfaction, and allowed front desk teams to focus more on hospitality rather than transaction processing. Approximately 50% of arriving guests currently use the automated check-in system, with usage climbing to 70% on peak days.
The system also facilitates additional revenue opportunities by allowing guests to purchase extra amenities such as attraction passes and late check-out options. Virdee supports over 38,000 Room Ready Notifications monthly, enabling guests to check in before their room is ready and begin their resort experience immediately while receiving digital notifications when their room becomes available.
