Aston Bay Holdings Launches 2025 Exploration Program at Storm Copper Project in Nunavut

Aston Bay Holdings Ltd. has announced its comprehensive 2025 regional exploration strategy for the Storm Copper Project located on Somerset Island, Nunavut. Operating under a 20/80 joint venture with American West Metals, the company aims to expand its copper exploration efforts across a 110 km copper belt.

The upcoming summer program will focus on multiple key objectives, including identifying new copper discoveries, expanding known mineral deposits, and supporting resource development through advanced geophysical techniques and targeted drilling. CEO Thomas Ullrich highlighted several significant milestones anticipated for 2025, including the completion of an initial NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate and a strategic alliance with Ocean Partners to support near-surface copper development.

A critical component of the exploration program is the ongoing Preliminary Economic Analysis for near-surface mineralization, with potentially impactful developments expected in the second half of the year. The company will also receive a $1 million royalty milestone payment from Taurus, further enhancing its financial positioning.

The exploration initiative is particularly significant as it represents a strategic approach to developing high-grade copper resources in a region with substantial mineral potential. By leveraging advanced exploration techniques and maintaining a free-carried interest in the joint venture, Aston Bay is positioning itself to potentially capitalize on emerging copper market opportunities.
