The Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida are set to host STEMapalooza 2025: Ology Overload, an event designed to ignite curiosity and passion for STEM among students, families, and the community. Scheduled for August 23 at the Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale, this event promises an evening filled with hands-on learning, interactive experiments, and the opportunity to explore various scientific disciplines, from biology to oceanography.
STEMapalooza stands out as a unique platform for attendees to engage with STEM in a dynamic and accessible manner. With activities ranging from live demonstrations to private screenings in the IMAX theater, the event aims to demystify science and technology, making them approachable for all ages. Highlights include the Expedition Dinosaur – Rise of the Mammals exhibit and sessions led by experts in fields such as criminology with the Broward Sheriff’s Office and meteorology with WSVN Channel 7’s Vivian Gonzalez.
