Golden Cariboo Discovers Deep Mineralization at Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. announced that drill hole QGQ26-29, completed on April 19, 2026, at its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property in British Columbia, intercepted numerous target zones and may have identified a new mineralized zone near the end of the hole. The potential zone is located about 600 meters vertically below the initial Discovery trench and the collar of an earlier drill hole, QGQ24-17.

The drill hole, collared at the same pad as a previous hole and aligned to target data adjacent to the greenstone contact, reached a depth of approximately 660 meters. The end of the hole is described as andesitic tuff with moderate sericite-silica alteration, containing quartz-carbonate veinlets comprising approximately 3–5% of the rock, locally increasing to 10–12%, with about 2% disseminated and replacement pyrite. Logging and sampling are in progress, with assays from the top of the hole currently pending. Maps detailing the drilling are available at https://goldencariboo.com/news/.

Assay results for a nearby drill hole, QGQ25-28, collared about 80 meters north of QGQ26-29, are nearly completed and expected within the week. The company's mineral resource estimate is in progress, with validation of all databases and additional technical studies underway. The latest drill hole is planned to be included in the estimate along with the company's 28 other NQ-sized drill holes and up to nine historical drill holes from the property.

J. Frank Callaghan, President and CEO of Golden Cariboo, stated the company is pleased with the early indications from the drill hole. He noted that the successful interception of multiple target zones and the emergence of a possible new mineralized horizon half a kilometer deep highlights the momentum building across the project. With additional assays expected shortly and the mineral resource estimate progressing, the company is advancing toward a clearer picture of the property's long-term potential.

The technical information in the announcement was reviewed and approved by David Mark, an independent consultant and Qualified Person under NI 43-101 standards. The property is located approximately 4 kilometers northeast of Hixon and 50 kilometers southeast of Prince George, British Columbia, within a historically productive gold region. The geological setting shows strong similarities to the Spanish Mountain gold deposit, situated along the same trend.
