The National Museum of Mathematics (MoMath) and Fosun are set to bring the ninth annual New York City Math Festival to Fosun Plaza on Saturday, July 12th, from 10 am to 4 pm. This free, family-friendly event will feature a variety of interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, and live demonstrations designed to make mathematics accessible and enjoyable for all ages.

Highlights of the festival include MoMath’s 120-foot-long Number Line Tightrope, interactive exhibits from the Math Midway 2 Go, and large-scale geometric sculpture builds led by David Reimann, MoMath’s 2024–2025 Visiting Professor for Public Outreach. Additionally, math-themed juggling demonstrations and hands-on robotics activities will be available, showcasing the diverse applications of mathematics in everyday life.

Wei Bo, Fosun Global Partner and Chairman of Four Trees Capital Management, expressed pride in hosting the festival, noting Fosun Plaza's role as a cultural destination in Lower Manhattan. Tom Costanzo, Fosun Global Partner and CEO of Four Trees Capital Management, highlighted the festival's ability to inspire through hands-on experiences with mathematics.
