Ninth Annual New York City Math Festival to Illuminate Fosun Plaza with Interactive Learning
The National Museum of Mathematics (MoMath) and Fosun will host the ninth annual New York City Math Festival, offering free, family-friendly activities that highlight the fun and importance of mathematics.
The National Museum of Mathematics (MoMath) and Fosun are set to bring the ninth annual New York City Math Festival to Fosun Plaza on Saturday, July 12th, from 10 am to 4 pm. This free, family-friendly event will feature a variety of interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, and live demonstrations designed to make mathematics accessible and enjoyable for all ages.
Highlights of the festival include MoMath’s 120-foot-long Number Line Tightrope, interactive exhibits from the Math Midway 2 Go, and large-scale geometric sculpture builds led by David Reimann, MoMath’s 2024–2025 Visiting Professor for Public Outreach. Additionally, math-themed juggling demonstrations and hands-on robotics activities will be available, showcasing the diverse applications of mathematics in everyday life.
